Proven solutions for a transparent seabed.

subdron is the first end-to-end autonomous underwater inspection solution covering any critical subsea infrastructure from inshore to offshore. One technology stack, unlimited application scenarios.

Ports & Terminals

Port walls and quay structures face constant stress, erosion, and structural degradation. Many are over 50+ years old. Regulations and safety standards require regular inspections.

subdron delivers fully autonomous, cm-level 3D scans of port walls. No divers, no downtime. Dependent on visibility and sensors applied, subdron's AI-powered anomaly detection identifies cracks, corrosion, deformation, and sheet pile misalignment automatically. Because inspections are fast and cost-efficient, ports can schedule them more frequently, transitioning from reactive repairs to predictive maintenance based on a digital data history.

Ships & Fleets

Over 60,000 vessels call at European ports every year, posing a security challenge as manual inspection cannot keep pace. Biofouling of just 2.5mm increases emissions by up to 34%.

subdron inspects full-hull coverage, at berth and at anchorage, without a tether, without putting divers at risk. The result: actionable 3D data for biofouling assessment, anomaly detection, collision or grounding damage evaluation, and class surveys. For port authorities and customs, subdron can screen incoming vessels for suspicious attachments or hull irregularities at a scale that manual inspection cannot achieve.

Dual-Use & Defence

Incidents to critical subsea infrastucture occur at a growing pattern. Without persistent monitoring, daily intercontinental transactions and widespread access to energy are put at risk.

subdron enables persistent autonomous monitoring of subsea cables, pipelines, and offshore installations. Based on our RON technology, we are able to detect anomalies, damage, and interference automatically. The system operates at depths from shallow inshore environments to deep-sea scenarios, depending on the vehicle platform used.

Integration & Licensing

Point-based navigation systems used in other AUV platforms often depend on pre-mapping and are not suitable for high-complexity underwater environments.

Depending on the individual application and need, subdron acts as a third party supplier to provide access to our proprietary RON technology.
